About Juliet
Juliet Bonham-Carter started painting when she was living in Kenya, mostly of animals and birds. There, she exhibited at the East African Wildlife Society gallery in Nairobi.
She has also travelled and painted in many other countries including Romania, India, Italy, Morocco, Spain and Ecuador.
Back in the UK, Juliet trained at the Winchester School of Art and Heatherleys in Chelsea, with the majority of her time nowadays being spent in her studio or tutoring the beginners’ oil classes with the Art Society.
She has undertaken many portrait commissions, including official portraits of the headmasters of Port Regis school and St Ronans school.
